For the fourth time, the Grand Prix Adrie van der Poel has chosen Team TOC as the organizational partner for the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, which will take place from January 28 to 30, 2028, in Hoogerheide, North Brabant (municipality of Woensdrecht).

The collaboration between the GP Adrie van der Poel, the KNWU, and Team TOC has proven to be a successful formula. “Since 2007, we’ve worked with Team TOC because of their reliability, expertise, and their 360-degree approach to events — including social impact and creative activations,” says Jan Prop, chairman of the GP Adrie van der Poel. Eric Kersten, director of Team TOC, is equally enthusiastic: “We’re proud to once again play a key role in this iconic World Championship. Hoogerheide is making history as the first location ever to host the Cyclo-cross World Championships for the fourth time.” After previous editions in places such as Sint-Michielsgestel, Zeddam, Louisville, and Luxembourg, this will be Team TOC’s eighth World Championship. “A milestone we’re proud of. It’s great to see that our approach continues to be appreciated.”

The 2023 edition is still fresh in everyone’s memory: 50,000 ecstatic fans witnessed Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert battle it out in a thrilling sprint on the Scheldeweg. Van der Poel came out on top and claimed the rainbow jersey.

On to another legendary edition in 2028!

Wow, that was cool!
